About

I am a poet and literary critic. Currently Professor of IER, University of Dhaka. Formerly I was teaching at a University in Taiwan. My research interests lie in the areas of English languae teaching, contemporary world literature, language pedagogy, postcolonial and South Asian literature, feminism, gender and women's image in literature.
I am always happy to hear from and share ideas with anyone else working in any related fields.
As a prolific writer, I have published about 12 books including two collections of poems, and edited more that seven titles on feminism, gender and literature. I am the co-editor of the Gender Encyclopedia published in Bengali from Dhaka. At present I am working on women's literature and feminism.
