About
Anthropology is what I live by. I teach anthropology at the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh and had been a member of the faculty at the University of Bergen, Norway, and Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh, since 1996. I have been working with various United Nations agencies and Government organizations, national and international NGOs, and academic and research institutions of home and abroad since then. Besides, I am a freelance photographer and been engaged in doing visual ethnographic documentations on striving lives at different locales of Bangladesh.
